On Monday, March 25th at approximately 5pm, a call came over for a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, a landscaping box truck and equipment was fully involved. The crew worked quickly extinguishing the fire, along with pulling out all the equipment in the truck; lawn mower, leaf blower, shelving and other items. On Tuesday, January 30th, members of the F.A.S.T. team held a drill at HQ. The team worked on sharpening their skills in search and rescue scenarios. There were two team’s setup, and each had an opportunity to perform a search on the apparatus floor, working to find the victim, perform the appropriate “packaging,” using webbing around the victim's body to assist with removal from the building. ...
