Yorktown Christmas Parade

On Saturday, December 7th, PVVFD members participated in the annual Yorktown Christmas parade. 24-23 was decorated with lights and looked great, while everyone made their way down the parade route. A good and chilly time was had by all!!

On Saturday, November 9th at 3:45AM the Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a large area brush fire in the wooded area located between Chapman and Camp Collins Roads. Due to the dry and windy weather conditions and the steep, rocky terrain, dry fallen leaves and brush and the large acreage, the situation created a hazardous and a difficult environment.

PVVFD Blood Drive Event

On Thursday – October 24th – Putnam Valley Vol. Fire Dept. held their 2nd blood drive of the year and it was another successful event.
Residents, members and their families collectively donated 120 pints, which will help those in need, as donations are always in high demand. Thank you to the blood drive committee and those members who came out to help setup, cook and support this event. ... (Full Story & Photos)

On Saturday - 9/21 - The Town of Putnam Valley hosted their annual Town Day. The Putnam Valley Vol. Fire Department continues to support this event and the community, but cooking up and serving delicious hamburgers, hotdogs, corn and their famous sausage & peppers. The evening wrapped up after the fire works display, which never disappoints and the finale was awesome.
