On Friday, August 21 at 6AM the Putnam Valley Fire Department was dispatched to an auto mobile accident on Taconic State Parkway in the vicinity of Peekskill Hollow Road. A tree had fallen across the parkway, and apparently one of the limbs pierced the windshield of a vehicle causing injury to one of the occupants. The person was transported by PVVAC to the hospital for medical attention.
