On Sunday, April 24th, Putnam Valley Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire on Lake Drive. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished. Lt. Lutz was able to find/retrieve a small dog who was hiding under the bed. The pup was reunited with the homeowner, who was very grateful her dog was saved. The homeowners were not home at the time of the fire and all members returned to main station without incident/injuries.
