PVVFD RESPONDS TO KENT FOR BRUSH/RUBBISH FIRE

At approximately 14:14 hours the Putnam Valley Fire Department was requested to respond mutual aid to Kent for a brush fire in the area of 170 Waywayanda ct. First arriving units started to stretch hose and created a fire line. There was also multiple tires and garbage burning, which created thick black smoke, which could bee seen as far as Putnam Hospital Center. All units were back in service at 16:01

Units: 24-1-3, 24-4-1, 24-3-2, 24-8-1 Kent 16-3-1, 16-8-1
