FAST Team Drill

On July 14, 2012, Putnam Valley Fire Department along with neighboring departments; Patterson and Lake Carmel, worked together on FAST Rescue Training Drills. There were several Firefighters from each organization along with Certified Drill Instructors. The day was spent instructing the firefighters through various types of real-life scenarios such as rappelling down through on open roof into a smoke filled room and breaking through walls to simulate forced entry/rescue situations.

It was a successful day of training thanks to the dedicated Drill Instructors and all the participating Firefighters.
