On Sunday June 23rd, strong storms passed through Putnam Valley and the surrounding towns. The storm caused many power outages, wires down and transformer fires. The Putnam Valley Vol. Fire Department was dispatched out to 6 wire incidents and 1 FAST call. It was a busy night and the members and officers were there every step of the way, ensuring all the calls were covered.
