The last week of July into August was a busy parade week for the department. On July 31st, we
participated in the Mahopac parade and took home 2nd Best Appearing Department - 15-24 In-Line.
Great showing by the members and family on the street to cheer us on.

That same week was the Ossining Parade on August 2nd. This parade was extra special, as it was
Frank DiMarco's last as Chief of the department. We took home 3 trophy's - 2nd Best Color Guard, 2nd
Best Non-Regulation Uniform and 2nd Best Chief's Car.

During both parades, we marched in down pours, thunder and still had some good laughs.
Great job by all who supported the work details, as there's a great deal that goes into preparing for
parades, from cleaning trucks, chief cars, ensuring all have the proper parade uniforms and much more.
