Mission Statement 

The Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department Inc. is dedicated to the safety of those living, working, and visiting our community and to the protection of the environment from natural and man-made disasters through Education, Prevention, Fire Suppression, and Rescue Services.

The Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department Inc provides fire and rescue services within the Town of Putnam Valley, a 46 square mile area in Western Putnam County, New York. Our 100 dedicated and highly trained volunteer firefighters respond to several hundred emergency calls annually, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In addition, these volunteers spend numerous hours each week in training, fire prevention, and fire education activities.
