Today at about 1:15PM the Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire in the Southbound lane of the Taconic State Parkway in the vicinity of Exit 25.

Arriving firefighters discovered a vehicle fully engulfed in flames, however members were able to quickly extinguish the fire without injury or incident.
