Proposed new OSHA regulations briefing 7/22 - Monday
Email Print RSS Facebook Twitter RSS

By Financial Secretary Lois Rizzi
July 22, 2024

We extend a heartfelt thanks to Congressman Michael Lawler, Assemblyman Matt Slater and Senator Rob Rolison for visiting Putnam Valley this morning to address the critical issue of the proposed new OSHA regulations. Your willingness to engage with our community and discuss the potential impact on our volunteer firefighters and our tax payers is deeply appreciated. The idea of transitioning to an all-paid fire department is a significant concern for us. The proposed regulations could place an enormous financial burden on our community, and your visit provided us with confidence that you understand the challenges and are working on a solution.

Thank you again on behalf of Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department and Town Of Putnam Valley
Town Board.
Jackie Annabi
